OSIVO j.s.c. with its main seat in town Zvolen

is one of the biggest seed companies in Slovakia with over 55 years tradition in seed business, services and consulting.

Certified seed production is ensured through three divisions in diverse regions of whole Slovakia.

Another division is special division for malt production.

OUR OFFER

Seeds of legumes :

pea and fodder pea, broad bean, spring and winter vetch, lentils and lupine from domestic breeding as well as from foreign breeders ( NL, CZ).

Seeds of oil plants :

high performance varieties and hybrids of winter rapeseed,

sunflower, oil flax, mustard and soybean plant.

Seeds of single year crops:

Sudanese sorghum, Phacelia tanacetifolia, Radish, Brassica juncea,

exploited in agriculture praxis green fertilizers.

Seeds of clovers and grasses

as well as their mixtures which are prepared from high-quality certified grass seeds from domestic breeders, respectively imported from our partners in DK and CZ.
Grass mixtures are registered, which display origin and quality of every single component.

Barley malt

is an important part of production program of our company

Our history:

Legal forerunner of our joint stock company was set up in 1952 by resolution of agricultural committee (state organ), which made possible to establish company, that was focused on breeding and seeds in agriculture.

The company has gone through different stages of development since this year,

but core business was always preserved.
During the sixties, farming on land and agricultural activity related with cattle breeding were associated.
Breeding of flowers, vegetables and woody plants was separated from company in the eighties.

The company stayed specialized in breeding and seed plant growing of agrarian plants. During these years, the department of breeding separated too and

seed plant growing became main activity of the company.

This is the reason why we can describe ourselves today as

successful seed company with more than 55 years tradition in seed business.
