Durum wheat belongs to the traditional cereals cultivated in Slovak environmental conditions.

Cultivation area of durum wheat reached almost 4.000 ha in Slovakia with production over 17.000 tons of durum wheat, area of which has been increasing constantly year by year.     
Durum wheat program came into being in our company in order to connect together all subjects that enter the realization of durum wheat

Implemented program will allow creation of close links between participated parties and ensure them information, requirements and advices transfer related to every single aspect of production that might appear in future.

Seed divisions of our company will be able to offer to their contractual farmers not only certified seeds and agronomic service but also market guarantees and direct feedback between farmer and durum wheat processor.

ISTROPOL SOLARY a.s. allows us to market following winter durum wheat varieties:

Istrodur – very early winter type durum wheat variety with high, reliable winterhardiness. It has medium resistance to diseases, high yield stability and good quality.

Riveldur – early winter type durum wheat variety with excellent winterhardiness and medium resistance to diseases. It has grains with high protein and yellow pigment content.
Vendur – early winter type durum wheat variety with high tillering ability, excellent winterhardiness and medium resistance to diseases. It has good quality.
